Signature parks

Boasting one of the biggest and best playgrounds in the region this playground caters for children aged two to 12 years. It features three custom-built 7.5 metre skywalk towers that are nestled in the trees, a toddler tower, bird nest swing, seesaw and mouse house.

You will also find a yarning circle, Ken Burgess Orchid House and plenty of open space and manicured gardens to explore within.  

Queens Park was revitalised in 2020 thanks to $8.8million in funding from the Queensland Government.

This playground features an impressive fully-fenced shaded play unit with two three-storey, interconnected climbing towers measuring 7.6 metres in height, as well as plenty of undercover areas and assorted play equipment catering for children aged two to 12 years old.

A more recent addition includes a full-size basketball court, fitted with lighting, that is able to be enjoyed day and night.

This park has been supported by the Queensland Government’s Works for Queensland program.

A beach-side park with two separate play zones for younger and older children, a flying fox and an all-abilities water play area with water jets, sprays and a splash pad. The park offers plenty of parking, sheltered picnic tables and barbecues and lots of seating including sunlounges which overlook the swimming enclosure. Enjoy a stroll along the coastal walk and take in the beautiful scenery.

The hours of operation for the water play area are 8am to 6pm, seven days a week.
